Robotech: Scratch one by LeElf Robotech: Scratch one by LeElf
Disclaimer: This piece is just a fun assumption that the Sentinels Storyline occurs. I am tired of seeing the same alphas and VF-1s overdone time and again. Just looking at alternative schemes.

The First of Many...CDR Max Sterling, in his trademark Blue VFA-6H catches the first Invid Scout flatfooted with his wing mounted GU-XX Gunpod during a Skull Squadron sweep of occupied Tirol.

Original work done in pen/ink scanned to photoshop and painted.

I like your art style; clean and crisp linework with an effective use of color shading.

Nice sense of speed and great point of view. Great detail of the vortices shedding off the wingtips and the green goo spewing from the Invid.

Thanks. That was the point of this exercise. If you look carefully you can see the smoke from the GU-XX Autocannon still seeping into the slipstream. Very subtle, but it's there...

I see it now. Thought it was air condensing.

Thanks Hand of Manos...that is one of my earlier works. Trying for a natural Copic look. I've thought about trying to improve on it...maybe go more towards a cell animated look? I've done this with some of my more recent pieces. Thanks for the support!
