ROBOTECH: The Beauty of Micronization
Miriya Parino, Finest Combat Ace of the Zentraedi undergoes the mirconization process so she can infiltrate the SDF-1 and search out her "nemesis" Max Sterling.   Micronization was a protoculture intensive procedure reserved for only the most important of missions.

Always wanted to do this piece, but had a heck of a time figuring out how to do it tastefully without departing from the way the scene was depicted in the OS.

ROBOTECH: Bioroid Speed Paint
Quick inspiration while on this SC kick.  Took about an hour to jot down this slight rework of Zor's ride.  I'll likely finish this piece with much more detail, some more rebooting, and probably take a swing at the man himself.
ROBOTECH: Dana Quick Sketch by LeElf
ROBOTECH: Dana Quick Sketch
I've always loved the Southern Cross.  Warts and all.  The characters are great, but always had a hard time reconciling Dana's appearance (I fully understand why she doesn't look anything like Max/Miriya)...This is my attmept to put her into context with the rest of the Sagas.  I'll take a swing at a retcon of her uniform, but this is a quick sketch to try and capture a liekness that fits in both worlds, the Mikimoto style made famous in Macross and Southern Cross OS.

Hope you like it!

Opportunity to get work done seems limited.  Real life takes it's toll.  I am currently working on other projects when not actively pursuing pieces I can post here.  Someone who has been a busy little be is Christian Kaw.  His new ROBOTECH Facebook page is really cool, and as the name suggests...Visionary.  If you appreciate pure Robotech art and imagination take a look at his new opus!  Bravo Christian!!

I am an amateur self taught artist with a strong Sci Fi leaning. Currently I am developing my own skillsets and working on improving my workflow for a possible future in illustration. I have a full time job, so what little time I have remaining goes to my art...for the time being.

I encourage discussion on my page, and am using my art to answer questions I've had about one of the influential series in my life Robotech, or Macross as it is also known.

Which sketchbook piece would you like to see finished first? (Note: Valkyrie Approach is nearing completion)
